Put Your Best Foot Forward is a free event that provides new shoes to K-12th grade students across Alameda County.

FAME, in partnership with Oracle Arena and O.co Coliseum, will provide free new shoes to 3,000 low-income K-12th grade students across Alameda County. 5,000 attendees will receive resources from a wealth of community and non-profit organizations on healthy lifestyle, wellness programs, screening & vaccinations, prizes, music, games and lunch. Over the past 18 years, FAME has distributed over 12,500 shoes to students returning to school.

One. Only three students per family may apply for shoes.

Yes. A parent or guardian must show their ID to pick up the student’s shoes.

No. Students must be present to receive their free pair of shoes.
